Abilis automation
The ABILIS automation module was designed for demanding clients.
ABILIS makes use of the Internet and cellular networks but works perfectly even without them.
- it does not share private information with anyone outside of the organisation.
- it interacts with the Router and Telephone Switchboard. For example, in the event of a serious risk, ABILIS can send a voice warning simultaneously to all employee cell phones.
- it is very fast: reacting within 0.01 seconds.
- it does not require polling: when it has data to transmit, it immediately transmits on its own initiative.
- it is programmable, including a LUA script interpreter and a “spreadsheet” where rules, sensors, and actuators can be defined. The LUA script is automatically generated from the spreadsheet.
- it can send alarms via SMS, email, and phone calls reproducing recorded messages, without the need for additional hardware.
Our solution
The ABILIS automation module acts as a central controller, managing multiple wired or wireless automation hubs (“slaves”) that do not require individual programming, as they receive this directly from ABILIS.
The values detected by sensors and the commands issued to actuators are stored in an event database with a capacity for billions of records.
The values stored in the database —or those being collected— can be viewed on the ABILIS web panel through configurable diagrams or numerical tables.
