19.2.1. UPS diagnostics

This command reports the current situation of the device:

The meaning:

USB-STATE

State of the UPS:

  • DISCONNECTED - The device is not connected.

  • CONNECTED - The device is connected.

UPTIME

Uptime of the UPS. N/A - USB-STATE is DISCONNECTED.

POWER-SOURCE

Power source:

  • MAIN - The main power voltage is present.

  • BATTERY - The main power voltage is not present.

  • N/A - USB-STATE is DISCONNECTED.

BATTERY

Battery condition:

  • NOT-PRESENT - The battery isn't present.

  • PRESENT - The battery is present.

  • PRESENT-TESTING - The battery is present and under testing.

  • N/A - USB-STATE is DISCONNECTED.

V-OUT-ALARM

The output regulated voltage is out of range:

  • NO - The output regulated voltage is in the proper range.

  • YES - The output regulated voltage is outside the proper range.

  • N/A - USB-STATE is DISCONNECTED.

V-MAIN-ALARM

The main voltage is out of range

  • NO - The main voltage is in the proper range.

  • YES - The main voltage is outside the proper range.

  • N/A - USB-STATE is DISCONNECTED.

BATTERY-LOW

The battery voltage is below the threshold:

  • NO - The battery voltage is over the battery low threshold.

  • YES - The battery voltage is below the threshold.

  • N/A - USB-STATE is DISCONNECTED or BATTERY is NOT-PRESENT .

V-OUT

Output regulated voltage value. N/A - USB-STATE is DISCONNECTED.

V-MAIN

Main power source voltage. N/A - USB-STATE is DISCONNECTED.

V-BATT

Battery voltage value measured when the battery charger is disconnected. N/A - USB-STATE is DISCONNECTED.

CHARGER

Charger state:

  • ENABLED - The battery charger is enabled.

  • DISABLED - The battery charger is disabled or the external voltage is too low to charge the battery.

  • N/A - USB-STATE is DISCONNECTED.

CHARGING

Battery charging state:

  • NO - The battery is not charging: the battery charger is disconnected (CHARGER is DISABLED) or the charging current (I-CHARGE) is less than ~200mA.

  • YES - The battery is charging.

  • N/A - USB-STATE is DISCONNECTED.

V-CHARGE

Battery voltage value measured when the battery charger is connected. N/A - USB-STATE is DISCONNECTED.

I-CHARGE

Battery charge current. N/A - USB-STATE is DISCONNECTED.

DUTY-CYCLE

Battery charging duty cycle:

  • 0 - The battery charger is always disconnected.

  • 50 - The battery charger is connected half of the time with a period of 4 seconds.

  • 100 - The battery charger is disconnected for 0.5 seconds every 60 seconds.

  • N/A - USB-STATE is DISCONNECTED.

TEST-ALLOWED

Inform if the test can be executed:

  • NO - It isn't possible to execute the test.

  • YES - It is possible to execute the test.

  • TESTING - Test is already ongoing.

  • N/A - USB-STATE is DISCONNECTED.

TEST-DELAY

Seconds before the DENIED barrier is removed. N/A - USB-STATE is DISCONNECTED.

LAST-RESULT

Result of the battery test:

  • NOT-TESTED - Test results not available: the test has not been executed yet.

  • SUCCESSFUL - The battery passed the test.

  • FAILED - The battery fail the test.

  • DENIED - It is not possible to start the battery test because there has been a switch to battery in the last 24 hours (caused by a power failure or by a battery test).

  • BATTERY-LOW - It is not possible to start the battery test because the battery voltage is too low.

  • BATTERY-NOT-PRESENT - It is not possible to start the battery test because there isn't any battery.

  • TESTING - Test is running right now.

  • N/A - USB-STATE is DISCONNECTED.

LAST-EXECUTION

Date and Time of last test execution. N/A - USB-STATE is DISCONNECTED.

V-NO-LOAD

Voltage of the battery before starting the test. N/A - USB-STATE is DISCONNECTED or LAST-RESULT is one of the following: NOT-TESTED, DENIED, BATTERY-LOW, BATTERY-NOT-PRESENT or TESTING.

V-START

Voltage of the battery after starting the test. N/A - USB-STATE is DISCONNECTED or LAST-RESULT is one of the following: NOT-TESTED, DENIED, BATTERY-LOW, BATTERY-NOT-PRESENT or TESTING.

V-END

Voltage of the battery when the test finish. N/A - USB-STATE is DISCONNECTED or LAST-RESULT is one of the following: NOT-TESTED, DENIED, BATTERY-LOW, BATTERY-NOT-PRESENT or TESTING.
