Open up your Internet browser (preferably Firefox) and type in the IP address of the Abilis.
When the homepage opens up, log-in with your personal USER-ID and Password (if you haven't got USER-ID/password yet, ask your system administrator).
Please consider the options for your login. You may choose to be recognized by Abilis:
Login expiry on browser closure
: the next
time you connect, you will have to login again. This option is
recommended if you aren't using your own computer.
Login default timeout (1 days 0 hours 0
min.)
: your login will expire exactly after one day (this
amount of time could be different).
Remember login permanently
: your browser
saves your credentials and sends them automatically.
Now that you are logged in, you can access to the OPC panel. Click on the OPC panel icon and you'll see the following screen:
Homepage: return to the homepage.
Log-out: show the logged user and the log-out button.
Call section: icons for call management.
Utility section: some useful icons for the access to frequently used functions:
Settings/Preferences: icons for accessing to settings and preferences:
Settings: change view settings of the OPC screen.
Preferences: manage call forwarding, fork, voice mail.
Option icons: some icons that show user's enabled options.
The option icons are the following ones:
Always active
Active on busy
Active on no answer
Active on all failures except busy and no answer.

Queues: show information about queue.
Group: show the group name.
Available userbox: show information about a user that isn't engaged in a call.
Busy user box: show information about a user that is engaged in a call.
Not logged-in user box: show information about a user that is using a software phone and isn't logged-in.

CTI-ROLE
:NETWORK
(calling/called and direction are reversed).
A user box is made like this:
Internal telephone number used to call the user.
User name. You can call him by clicking on it.
The local port type.
The user picture.
The info icon. Click on it to view details about the user.
Option icon: the icon show if the user has enabled option DND.

There are different types of user boxes:
Black border box: identifies the box relevant to you.
White box: the headset is on-hook.
Black box: the headset is off-hook (the user is busy).
At the left of the user's telephone number there is a symbol that indicates the call direction (> if there is a received call, <none> if there is a outgoing call).
Under the name there is a symbol that indicates the call direction (< if there is an incoming call, > if there is a outgoing call), followed by the called number.
Blinking Black box: the telephone is ringing.
Grey box: the relevant user isn't logged in.
If the user owns more than one interface, they are represented with tabs on the user box.
In this example the first tab is the CTIP interface (the analog phone with number 49) and in the second tab is the VO interface (the AbilisPhone number 749).
