Automation

This section lets you monitor sensors (temperature, motion, door contacts) and control outputs (relays, lights, locks) connected to the Abilis via WIO, RIO, or RVS modules. You can build visual dashboards, create automated rules (e.g. "if temperature exceeds 30°C, turn on the fan"), and write custom programs for advanced logic.

The Abilis automation module was designed for demanding clients. It uses the Internet and cellular networks but works perfectly even without them — your building automation continues running if the internet goes down. It does not share private information with anyone and interacts directly with the Router and Telephone Switchboard built into the same unit.

The Abilis connects to physical devices in your building through modules called RIO (Remote Input/Output — wired modules), RVS (another wired variant), WIO (Wireless I/O — for Wireless Sensor Networks, allowing thousands of tiny wireless sensors to communicate with the Abilis), and Sonoff (consumer-grade Wi-Fi smart switches).
