This is your telephone control panel. The Abilis works as a complete phone system (a PBX) — your desk phones, softphones (phone software on a PC or laptop), and the Abilisphone mobile app (Android/iOS) all connect through it as extensions. From this section you can check who called, manage your contacts, set up what happens when you're away from your desk, and — if you're an administrator — configure how calls are routed across the system.
Click Phone in the sidebar. You'll see seven tabs across the top:
| Tab | What you use it for |
|---|---|
| Address Book | Save and look up phone numbers. You can create personal contacts (only you see them) or public contacts (shared with everyone in the office). Details → |
| Recent Calls | See who called you, when, and for how long. Filter by incoming, outgoing, or missed calls. Useful for calling back someone you missed. Details → |
| Preferences | Control what happens to your calls: forward them to your mobile when you're away, activate Do Not Disturb so your phone doesn't ring, or configure voicemail. Details → |
| OPC Panel | The operator's switchboard — see all active calls in real time, transfer calls between extensions, and pick up calls ringing on other phones. Designed for receptionists. Details → |
| Extensions | See which phones are registered on the system and their extension numbers. Administrators use this to check that phones are connected and working. Details → |
| Statistics | Call volume reports: how many calls per day, average wait time, how many were missed, which extensions are busiest. Useful for staffing decisions and quality monitoring. Details → |
| CTI Routings | The dial plan — rules that control how calls are routed. For example: "when someone dials 0, connect them to the outside line" or "when a call comes from this number, send it to the sales group." Advanced, typically set up once. Details → |
→ How-To Guides — step-by-step instructions for registering a phone, setting up call forwarding, creating a voice menu, recording greetings, and more.
